And so it comes to this
A final call to arms
Reason dies, drones awake
Retreat into your tribes
Vast opposing armies
Faith at war with faith
The gods will stand to judgment
The lambs will have their day

The pinnacle of weaponry
Intelligent design
We forged our own destruction
A fate wrought with our minds
Primal traits of fear and hate
Engulf the Earth in flames
We drown in the inferno
Till there’s no one left to blame

We meet on the steps of our ruin
Where we shall join the dead
Ravaged essence of a once proud Earth
Our end will greet us there
On the funeral pyres of ruin
The rancid clouds of death
A final harvest of souls to appease the gods
But God did not appear
And so we’ll rot inside our ruins
Alone we face the dark
No judgment, paradise or hell to take us home
Our home was here and now is lost

We are lost

All is turned to ashes
The dead sleep peacefully
The living in their torture
Await the night’s mercy
Pity the survivors
Condemned to earthly hell
